Shareen had always wanted to be a teacher. Her earliest memory was making the teacher’s register and helping the ‘children’ in her role play. A number of years later after graduating from University of Worcester, she embarked on a teaching career in a number of different schools. Shareen’s particular preference was working with children from poor socio-economic backgrounds and enabling them to be the best they could be regardless of their circumstances.
Charity work has always been an area of great interest and through a number of projects, she has involved many schools with a number of initiative around the world. Her ability to project manage and knowledge of primary education is an asset to the charity and Shareen is involved with the daily maintenance of MBCT. Currently Shareen is taking a break from the world of teaching as her role as a teacher has extended to being a mummy. She has two young daughters, however she continues to kept an interest in the world of teaching as well as educating her daughters on the importance of making a difference in the world.
